This year Art+Weekend 2017 is coming out bigger and better. This year Art+Weekend offers you a unique artistic experience in one of the most beautiful venues nature can offer.Rather than being an art convention, we bring you a cultural collaborative art experiment that hopes to affect the way people interact with nature on a daily basis by addressing the aesthetic beauty around them and representing it through their art. An intense, exciting combination of art workshops, activities, live art and music will take you through an experience of a life time.Participants will be able to interact with the Sr. Artists & with each other on a number of levels, in a natural environment that seeks to create discursive opportunities, promote the exchanging of ideas, and inspire them to access, engage & create art on a higher level.Enjoy the aurora in the arms of mountains with the hypnotic beauty propagated with the verdant landscape. Nature awakens the very fervent nature of a person. So here we present you with the most exciting weekend getaway of this month. Get ready to be captivated by the azure pools and an alley of lush green trees of Vanvasa Resort. Take a break from the monotony and accompany us to the exuberant sojourn and avidly mesmerize the vista of Lansdowne.

Let’s take a walk to the wild side together in Lansdowne. The view is priceless and the experience is liberating. It is in the still silence of nature where one will find the true bliss.

Workshops & Activities:Watercolour – Discover the artist trapped inside you by our aesthetic watercolour workshop. You will be ushered by our upright mentor Sanjay Kumar and all the utilities will be provided to you at the event. Pick up your paint brush and paint out the aspiring artist in you.Tie & Dye – Let’s engulf in the rare Shibori art and bind, stitch, fold, twist, or compress the subtle cloth into beautiful and colourful patterns. Meet our Shibori master, Pallav Chaudhary, and learn about this ancient Japanese technique.

Photography – Don’t just view travel photography solely as an adventure, witness the extraordinary and involve the documentation of area’s landscape, people, cultures, customs and history.

Game & Activities – An endless array of activities awaits you, there will be fun-filled outdoor and indoor games. Voluntarily chill alongside of the pool with your reflectors and let the light rays set in.

Live Band – Get ready to shake a leg with Paperboat, a band of sailors that fuses ingredients like blues, funk, pop, reggae, jazz and tops it up with a whole lot of groove.
